Tamar Lambert cracks 142 in first trial

Captain Tamar Lambert hammered a century on yesterday’s opening day of the first four-day trial match at Up Park Camp.
Lambert compiled 142 as Tamar Lambert’s Eleven ended on 306 for six against David Bernard’s Eleven.
Horace Miller chipped in with 50, while Xavier Marshall scored 30.
David Bernard was the most successful bowler with 2-42.
Jamaica’s 24-man squad is preparing for the 2010 regional first class season, which bowls off in January.
There will be three four-day trial matches and the squad will be cut to 18 at the end of the final match.
