Chanderpaul win major WIPA awards

Guyanese left-hander Shivnarine Chanderpaul swept all the major prizes at the West Indies Players’ Association cricket awards function last night in Port of Spain, Trinidad.



Chanderpaul was voted International Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year and One Day International Cricketer of the Year.



Trinidad and Tobago’s Darren Ganga won the First Class Cricketer of the Year.



Adrian Barath was named Emerging Cricketer of the Year and Shamarh Brooks Under-19 Cricket of the Year.
