All 11 players who beat Sri Lanka in the second Test yesterday were included in West Indies’ 16-man squad for the One Day international cricket series.
Chris Gayle leads the team, which includes only one rookie, left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn, who made his test debut in the first Test in Guyana.
There was a recall for power-hitting all rounder Kieron Pollard, who was part of the West Indies squad for the 2007 World Cup in the Caribbean.
Wicketkeeper Patrick Browne, all rounder Darren Sammy and batsman Runako Morton also join their test teammates for the three-match series.
The first two matches are at Queen’s Park Oval on Thursday and Saturday, with the last match on April 15, at Beausejour Stadium in St. Lucia.
