INCREASED SHOWERS LIKELY ON WEDNESDAY

An area of disturbed weather to the east of Puerto Rico has been producing cloudy conditions with gale force winds and thunderstorms.
This area of disturbed weather is projected to move westwards and influence weather conditions over Jamaica by Wednesday. A significant increase in showers and thunderstorms is therefore likely over the island on Wednesday through Friday.
The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation.
