Seba United relegated

Seba United were yesterday relegated from the island’s premier football competition, the National Premier League on the final day of the season.



The Montego Bay-based team joins August Town, which was relegated last Wednesday.



Arnett Gardens, survived relegation, by knocking out Seba following a 2-1 away victory at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay.



St. Georges, which were also in the relegation zone, edged Reno 1-0 at Lynch Park in Portland to stay in the Premiership.



Second-placed Tivoli Gardens and new champions Portmore United battled to a 1-1 draw.



Portmore finished the season on 75 points, nine ahead of Tivoli Gardens on 66.



Boys’ Town outscored Waterhouse 4-2 at Collie Smith Drive, while August Town edged Village United 4-3 at the UWI field and Sporting Central Academy and Harbour View battled a 1-1 draw at Brancourt in Clarendon.
