West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Smith will join fellow Barbadian Corey Collymore at Sussex on a short-term contract.

The English County champions confirmed earlier today that they have signed the all-rounder for the duration of the domestic 20/20 competition.

Smith was signed as a replacement for injured former Pakistan leg-spin bowler Mushtaq Ahmed.

The 25 year old Smith has played in 10 Tests and 71 One-Day Internationals for the West Indies.

He has just completed a stint in the Indian Premier League, where he played four matches for the Mumbai Indians.
