Military commanders from the Caribbean, North America and Europe have agreed to greater cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking, which is blamed for much of the crime in the Caribbean.

This reportedly follows a recent meeting in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Patrick Manning who is responsible for security within CARICOM revealed the community is preparing to sign two security agreements.

He says one is an extradition pact to make it easier to find, arrest and extradite criminals.
