FIFTH TROPICAL DEPRESSION FORMS

At 4:00 a.m. the center of Tropical Depression Five was located near Latitude 24.6 degrees north and Longitude 91.8 degrees west or about 590 kilometres east-southeast of Brownsville, Texas.
The depression is moving towards the northwest near 16 km/h and a turn towards the west-northwest is expected later today.
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 km/h with higher gusts.
The depression is forecast to become at Tropical Storm prior to making landfall on the lower or middle Texas coast on Thursday.
Tropical Depression Five is not a threat to Jamaica.
