Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) are preparing to deal with the threat posed by St Lucia in its opening match of the Stanford 20/20 series.
The St. Lucians defeated the Cayman Islands in the opening match of the tournament on Saturday night, at the Stanford Ground in Antigua.
T&T and St. Lucia will meet on February 2, with the winner progressing to meet the winners of the Barbados/Dominica match.
T&T team manager Omar Khan said the team would be taking the clash very seriously knowing that anything can happen in 20/20 cricket.
T&T leave on Thursday for Antigua.
Jamaica’s 13-man squad will depart for Antigua on February 4, and will open against The Bahamas on February 6.
