Bringing a little slice of Paris to the shores of Jamaica, friends, family, and well-wishers of Pastry Chef Saleema Barclay gathered last Saturday to mark the opening of her patisserie, Le Macaron Pastries and Desserts. Though the afternoon clouds had other plans, the evening’s attendees, which included close friends of Barclay, enjoyed the sweet and savoury offerings of the country’s newest French-inspired brick and mortar. Something Extra has the highlights.
