A policeman attached to the Catherine North division escaped serious injuries when his motorcycle and a route taxi collided at the four-way intersection at St Johns Road, St Catherine this afternoon.
The policeman was rushed to hospital a short while ago as a result of the injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, he sustained in the accident.
The driver of the Toyota motor car that was operating as a route taxi, Solomon Smith, claimed that the unidentified policeman loss control of his motorcycle and hit the rear end of his car.
