Security guard killed at Clarendon sugar factory

A security guard was shot and killed while on duty at the New Yarmouth Sugar Factory in Clarendon yesterday afternoon.
The police say about 12:15, Gladston Blackstock reportedly saw two men on a motor bike at the front of the factory and asked them what they needed.
One of the men then pulled a handgun and fired several shots at Blackstock hitting him.
The 26-year-old security guard was later pronounced dead at hospital.
No motive has been established for the killing.
