Manchester farmer found chopped to death

An investigation has been launched into the death of a Manchester resident whose body was found with chop wounds in Canewood district in the parish on Sunday night.

He has been identified as Shyan Young, otherwise called 'Shane', a farmer of Epping Forest, Comfort Hall district, Manchester.

Reports are that about 9 p.m. passersby stumbled upon Young's body and summoned the police.

Upon their arrival, Young's body was observed lying on the roadway with multiple chop wounds.

He was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting a probe of the matter.
