A 16-year-old boy was one of two persons who died from injuries received in separate vehicular crashes in St Thomas last night.

Dead is Devaughn Henry, a student of Ginger Hall in Bath in the parish.

The other deceased is yet to be identified.

Reports are that about 7:30 p.m., Henry was driving a motorcycle along the Bath main road when he reportedly lost control of the bike and crashed.

He sustained severe injuries and the bike was extensively damaged.

He was assisted to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, about 11:45 p.m., a motorcyclist crashed along the main road in Retreat in Port Morant.

He was pronounced dead at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

The traffic department is probing both matters.
