Excelsior, KC claim Corporate Area Champs

Excelsior High School and Kingston College retained their Girls’ and Boys’ titles at the Corporate Area Championships as the final day concluded at the National Stadium this afternoon.

Excelsior strolled to victory, amassing 403 points. Wolmer’s Girls’ School were well beaten in second place with 310 points, while Immaculate Conception were third with 280.

Meanwhile, KC needed to win the 4x400m class one boys’ event to secure the title. KC’s 427 points were just enough to pip Calabar, with whom they were neck and neck throughout the final day. Calabar ended with 415 points, while Jamaica College were third with 389.5.
