Twenty four hours before Jamaica were set to begin their Netball World Cup campaign in South Africa, captain Jhaniele Fowler took to social media to address security concerns at their base.
In an Inst gram story post on Wednesday, Fowler claimed that she was robbed and that persons tried to access their rooms.
"This is so unfortunate. This place isn't safe. First they stole my purse now people trying to come in on us in our rooms. Really!!!" Fowler posted.
Jamaica are slated to open against Sri Lanka on Friday in pool play in Cape Town, South Africa.
