Dujuan 'Whisper' Richards has been added to Jamaica's squad for Friday's World Cup qualifier against Curaçao in Willemstad.

Richards, who plies his trade at Chelsea FC in the English Premier League, last played for Jamaica in a 3-2 win over Haiti in October of 2023.

Since returning from a long term injury Richards has scored twice in six appearances for Chelsea's U21s.

Reggae Boyz head coach Steve McClaren recently named his 26-man squad for the October international window of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.

The squad has been bolstered by the return of several key players who missed the September window due to injuries.

Captain Andre Blake and defenders Joel Latibeaudiere, Amari’i Bell and Ethan Pinnock have all returned to the squad.

Jamaica will travel to Curaçao Friday before hosting Bermuda at the National Stadium on October 14.
