The Reggae Boyz suffered their first defeat in the final round of the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers as they were turned back 2-0 by Curaçao at the Ergilio Hato Stadium on Friday night.

Livano Comenencia opened the scoring in the 14th minute before Kenji Gorre confirmed the result with his goal in the 68th minute.

The result means Curaçao take control of Group B as they move to the top with seven points, just ahead of Jamaica with six.

In the group’s other game, Trinidad and Tobago picked up their first win as they defeated Bermuda 3-0.

Trinidad sit third in the group with four points, while Bermuda stay rooted at the foot of the table without a point.
