The first finalist of the Confederations Cup in South Africa will be decided today when European champions Spain take on the United States in semi-final one.
Spain are going for another record. They will look to surpass Brazil’s record of 35-match unbeaten run from 1993 to 1996 by reaching Sunday’s final.
Spain haven’t lost a game since November 2006 and are heavily favored to beat the United States, who scraped through to the semi-final.
Brazil, looking to win their second consecutive Confederations Cup title, will face hosts South Africa in the other semi-final match slated for tomorrow at Ellis Park.
