West Indies try to repair damage

The West Indies, replying to Australia\'s 251, were 107 for three at Sports Time on the second day of the third and final Digicel Cricket Test at Kensington Oval in Barbados.



Xavier Marshall 38 and Shivnarine Chanderpaul 20 are trying to repair the early damage in an unbroken fourth wicket partnership of 43 runs.



Australia fast bowler, Brett Lee claimed a double-strike to put the West Indies under early pressure. West Indies went to lunch struggling on 89 for three.



Lee removed openers Sewnarine Chattergoon for 6 and captain Chris Gayle for 14, while Stuart Clarke accounted for Ramnaresh Sarwan for 20 to leave the match delicately poised.



Earlier, West Indies quickly polished off the last three wickets to dismiss Australia for 251. The Aussies had resumed this morning on 226 for seven.



Pacer Fidel Edwards collected two wickets this morning to finish with three for 56 off 17 overs, while fellow fast bowler Jerome Taylor grabbed another wicket to end with three for 46 in 12 overs.
