The Bureau of Special Investigations (BSI) has been called in to investigate the shooting death of a man by the police in New Market Westmoreland yesterday.

The police said 20 year old Errol Wilson shot at members of a patrol team, after he and another man were seen acting suspiciously.

They said the police personnel returned the fire and Wilson was hit.

A Daewoo 9 millimeter pistol was reportedly taken from him.

The other man reportedly escaped.
