Police issue advisory for T20 matches

Patrons who will be attending the matches in the Jamaican leg of the Caribbean Premier League 20Twenty Competition at Sabina Park, Kingston on Tuesday, August 14 and Wednesday, August 15 are being advised that several items will not be permitted into the stadium.

These are firearms, knives, explosives, illegal drugs, walking stick type umbrellas, large igloos and frozen water bottles.

Licensed firearm holders must make arrangements for the safekeeping of their weapons as no provisions will be made at Sabina Park.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force says the police have made all the necessary preparations to ensure that the security of all during the matches and urges cooperation, patience, and understanding where necessary.
