Another good win for Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant Football Academy returned to winning ways in the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) with a 4-1 win over lowly Molynes United at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence on Sunday.

Goals from Allan Ottey (22nd) and Devonte Campbell (29th) in the first half, and second half strikes from Ricardo Morris (46th) and Daniel Green (78th) ensured the win for the St Ann-based team.

Trivante Stewart netted Molynes United's consolation in the 73rd minute.

Mount Pleasant lead the standings with 16 points from six matches, three more than second place Waterhouse.

Molynes sit bottom of the table with three points.

In the opening game of the double-header Humble Lion and Waterhouse played to a 1-1 draw. Both goals came in the second half. Andrew Vanzie netted for Humble Lion before Keithy Simpson found the equaliser for Waterhouse. Humble Lion are ninth in the standings with four points.
