Jamaica defeated Grenada 6-1 in their second game of the Concacaf World Cup qualifying first round at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium this afternoon.

Jody Brown (42nd and 54th minutes) and Khadija Shaw (45th and 90th minutes) both had braces while Tiffany Cameron (28th minute) and Alika Keene (73rd minute) added strikes as Jamaica remained perfect in their first two games of Group C. Roneisha Frank scored Grenada's lone goal in the 52nd minute.

Jamaica and the Dominican Republic are tied on six points after two games but the Dominican Republic lead the group with a superior goal difference (plus 13) compared to the Reggae Girlz's plus nine.

Jamaica will next play the Cayman Islands on April 9 before closing out the round against the Dominican Republic on April 12. Only the group winners will advance to the final round of qualifying which will take place in Mexico in July.
