Jamaican Gareth Breese produced another good performance to help Durham beat Lancashire by six wickets in their Twenty/Twenty Cup North Division match yesterday at Old Trafford.
Breese claimed one wicket and grabbed three catches as Lancashire scored 180 for six off its 20 overs.
Durham replied with 181 for four.
In another game, Essex with Jamaican Maurice Chambers defeated Sussex with Barbadian Dwayne Smith at County Ground.
Batting first, Sussex scored 144 all out in 20 overs with Chambers getting the wicket of Smith. The Jamaican finished with one for six off one over.
Essex replied with 146 for three to win with three overs to spare.
