Ja minimum wage to increase

The Government has announced that the minimum wage is to go up by $500 as of January 28.
The Labour and Social Security Minister Pearnel Charles made the announcement in Parliament today.
This will move the national minimum wage from $3,240 for a 40-hour work week to $3,700.
The minimum wage for industrial security guards will move from $4,700 to $5,500.
