The 17th staging of the Montego Bay Jerk & Food Festival takes centre stage today at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre, with organisers promising a full slate of live entertainment alongside the festival’s signature food offerings.
Leading the entertainment line-up are Skippa, Ayetian, Alaine, Prince Saj, Future Fambo, Top Banks, Feloni 19 and Adoracion Ministries, with performances spanning dancehall, reggae and gospel.
Joleine Longman-Boreland, the festival’s PR and media director, said organisers are looking forward to welcoming patrons.
“We are incredibly excited about this year’s line-up,” she said. “These artistes bring so much passion and talent to everything they do, and we know they are just as eager to take that stage as our patrons are to see them. [Today] is going to be something special.”
One of the latest additions to the entertainment bill is Future Fambo, who has been generating significant attention on social media in recent weeks.
Organisers said the artiste’s inclusion reflects the festival’s commitment to presenting acts that are resonating with Jamaican audiences.
