On a terminal where cranes, containers, and vessel schedules set the pace, the women of Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited (KFTL) were given something the rhythm of port life rarely allows: a room built entirely around them. Held on October 30 as part of the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations, Women of KFTL: Her Place, Her Power, Her Potential recognised the 180 women among KFTL’s 1,462 employees. They lead 26 teams across the organisation, from finance and wharfage to labour planning, safety, and shift operations.
