If you’ve ever dreamed of living by the sea, a hidden coastal home like this one offers a tranquil escape.
Located in quiet Sandy Bay, in northwestern Jamaica, some 13 miles outside of Montego Bay, this villa sits beautifully at the water’s edge. Here, the constant, rhythmic sound of waves breaking gently against the shore can be heard from every corner of the house.
Conceptualised and built to place its rooms in harmony with the surrounding seascape, the multifaceted, single-level, hip-roofed house has three bedrooms, each with private patios. Each bedroom has an adjoining, well-appointed bathroom with glass-door showers, built-in alcove bathtubs, and double-sink vanities.
The open and airy living-dining room with its lofty ceiling looks out towards the sea and horizon through a row of doors opening on to a casually furnished dining and relaxation terrace. A high-performance audio system fills the air with your favourite music throughout.
The dramatic coastal setting immerses you in the surrounding landscape, including a swimming pool deck positioned directly along the shoreline. You won’t be able to resist relaxing on the beach or taking a dip in the shimmering pool with friends and family.
