JEP health fair series continues following strong Tivoli turnout

After a successful first staging last Wednesday at Tivoli Gardens High School, the Jamaica Energy Partners (JEP) Group’s series of health, dental and wellness fairs continues on Wednesday, July 29 at Clan Carthy High School.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The health fairs are sponsored by Jamaica Energy Partners, West Kingston Power Partners and Jamaica Private Power Company.

Approximately 150 people turned out to access free medical services at last week’s fair at Tivoli Gardens High School, sponsored by West Kingston Power Partners, a response organisers welcomed.

The Clan Carthy fair is sponsored by Jamaica Private Power Company and, like the others in the series, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The final event will be held on Friday, July 31, at Old Harbour Primary School, providing community members with access to free medical check-ups, dental care, health screenings, banking services and college admissions information.

JEP Group says it has hosted annual health fairs for more than a decade to improve access to essential healthcare services and promote the well-being of residents in the communities it serves.

“This year’s health fairs will offer a range of free services, including medical check-ups, dental care, health screenings, banking services and college admissions information,” the group says.

Community members will also have access to representatives from the Regional Health Authorities, Jamaica Family Planning Association, Biomedical, Sagicor, Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS), National Housing Trust (NHT), National Insurance Scheme (NIS), National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA), HEART/NSTA Trust, Distinction College and Excelsior College.
