Portmore man charged after woman allegedly attacked and dragged from car

A 33-year-old Portmore, St Catherine, man has been charged for allegedly attacking a woman and dragging her from inside a car in which she was seated.
Ramone Caroll, an air-conditioner technician of a Braeton address, is charged with unlawful wounding.
The police report that about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, the woman was seated inside a vehicle at her home in Braeton Phase One in Portmore, St Catherine, when she was confronted by the accused.
It is being alleged that he rained blows on her and dragged her from the vehicle.
The woman suffered injuries and a wound to her face.
A report was made to the Portmore police, and an investigation led to Caroll's arrest.
He was subsequently charged with unlawful wounding on Friday, September 4.
A court date is being finalised.
