Morgan condemns Opposition MPs over Parliament fracas
The slackness of this country and the indiscipline of the citizens. To see people here commenting who wrong from who is right. We should be condemning this on all levels. The same political allegiance is what is breaking this country. People can’t put colour aside and condemn indiscipline. It always has to be political. - @general_livity
Doesn’t matter which side. It shouldn’t happen as leaders of a country. Keep unno emotions in check. - @apm_123Both side at fault. - @kenroyhenriques
Suh parliament affi guh be rated R now. Wow. What is dis ? All my years I have never seen this. - @c_rock_ja
Leadership is not just about holding a position, having a title, or commanding respect. It is about setting an example that others can follow. If our leaders promote disrespect, bullying, intimidation and division, what message are we sending to our children and the next generation? Our children are watching!
A leader must demonstrate:
- Respect, even when there is disagreement.
- Integrity, even when under pressure.
- Discipline, even when emotions run high.
- Accountability, even when mistakes are made.
- Humility, even when holding power.
Parliament should be a place where ideas are challenged, not where people are bullied. Political differences should never become an excuse for disrespect. You cannot demand discipline from the nation while displaying indiscipline in leadership. Jamaica needs leaders who lead by example, inspire confidence, and understand that their behaviour shapes the culture of our society.- @governanceja
Just a disgrace on both sides! Both sides need to apologise to the Jamaican people! - @patzelda
Y’all never do nothing yet. This is unacceptable and a disgrace to our Parliament. I condemn the behaviour of both the Government and Opposition MPs involved in this incident. Our elected representatives are supposed to lead by example, uphold respect, and serve the people of Jamaica. Not engage in heated confrontations and disorderly conduct. Political differences should never outweigh the dignity of our Parliament. Jamaica deserves better from both sides. We need leadership, maturity, accountability and respect, not political quarrels and unnecessary drama. Sad to say it’s been like this for years. Both parties must be held accountable. The people of Jamaica deserve better! - @ray_charles_123
