Motorists will again dig deeper into their pockets to buy gas as Petrojam has announced another round of increases.

The state-owned oil refinery says on Thursday, E-10 87 will move up by $4.50 to sell for $172.38 per litre and a litre of E-10 90 will also go up by $4.50 to sell for $179.82.

Automotive diesel oil will move up by $4.50 per litre to sell for $184.75.

Ultra low sulphur diesel will sell for $191.59 per litre following an increase of $4.50.

The price of kerosene will go up by $4.50, with that fuel to sell for $174.14.

In the meantime, propane cooking gas will go up by $0.25 to sell for $80.36, while butane will move down by $0.25 to sell for $89.08 per litre.

Petrojam says as tensions in the Middle East continue, oil prices remain above seasonal averages, prompting price increases in transport fuels for another week.

Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
