JN Bank appoints Luwanna Williams as Managing Director

Luwanna Williams is the new managing director of JN Bank.

Williams, whose appointment takes effect on Monday, September 7, is a senior financial services executive with more than 20 years of experience across wealth management, investment banking and financial regulation in the Caribbean.

She previously served as President and CEO of PROVEN Wealth and was also employed at Jamaica National, JMMB Bank and the Bank of Jamaica.

Earl Jarrett, deputy chairman and chief executive officer of The Jamaica National Group, has welcomed the appointment, citing Williams’ experience, familiarity with JN and disciplined approach to financial leadership.

“Ms Williams understands the financial services landscape, she understands disciplined execution, and she understands the purpose of JN. We, therefore, welcome her back to the JN Group family and we are confident that, with the support of our teams, members and customers, she will help guide JN Bank into its next phase of sustained performance and positive impact.”

Williams holds a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Science with honours in Banking and Finance from The University of the West Indies.

JN Bank stated that Williams is known for her ability to rapidly diagnose strategic and organisational issues.
