Doku signs new five-year deal at Man City

MANCHESTER, England (AP):

Jérémy Doku signed a new five-year contract with Manchester City yesterday after establishing himself as one of the best and most exciting wingers in the English Premier League.

The Belgium international is tied to Manchester City until 2031. He joined from French team Rennes in 2023.

Doku said he feels settled at Manchester City and was looking forward to playing under recently hired manager Enzo Maresca, whose gameplan relies heavily on wingers.

“His style of football is the kind we love,” Doku said, “so that’s exciting for the players.”
