Jamaica finish fourth at Pan Am Lacrosse Championship

Jamaica missed out on a medal at the Pan American Men’s Lacrosse Championship after they were defeated 16-9 by Haudenosaunee earlier this morning in the bronze medal match at Stadium East.
The JamLax Boys finished fourth overall at the inaugural Pan American Lacrosse Championship, with Haudenosaunee claiming the bronze medal.
It was a fiercely contested match as both teams went head-to-head throughout the opening stages, with Haudenosaunee taking a slender 6-5 lead by the end of the first quarter.
It was even closer in the second quarter as the two teams played out a 2-2 draw, with Haudenosaunee entering the half-time break with a slender 8-7 lead.
The visitors pressed their advantage in the third quarter, outscoring Jamaica 4-2, before dominating the final quarter 4-0 to snatch the win.
